Ms. FeliciaMs. Felicia is the Overseer of our Joy Kids Team. She has been attending Joy for the last 21 years and has been the Overseer for the last 13 years. She is married to Pastor Brandon Myers and they have two little boys named Lyric and Lucas and the new addition...little baby Sonny. She worked for Sacramento county for 10 years before moving on to work as the church administrator for the last 3 years.
“Working with children has been my passion for a very long time. Ever since I was a little girl I have loved interacting with children. Over the last 13 years of Overseeing our Joy Kids Team there have been plenty of challenges but there has also been so much joy! Being able to watch a child learn and grow as a person and as a follower of Christ is such an honor and I would not trade the last 13 years of my life and ministry for anything in the world!” |

Ms. AmberMs. Amber is a 5th grade teacher here in West Sacramento. She and her husband Spencer have been married for 6 years. They currently do not have children but are hoping to expand their family very soon! She has been attending Joy since she was 13 years old and has been a part of our teaching team for a total of 8 years!
“I teach at Joy because I love to share the Gospel with the children. I love to hear their stories and answer their questions. I love to see their eyes light up when they know an answer or when they have memorized a Scripture. They have such a desire to learn about Jesus, and that makes my job even better.” |

Ms. MadhviMs. Madhvi has been attending Joy for the last 12 years and has been teaching our Joy Kids for 3 years. She is married to her Husband Ron and is a stay at home mom to her 3 wonderful children Risha, Ryan and Rhea. Ms. Madhvi was saved in Sunday School at the age of 9 so having the opportunity to teach children has been a tremendous gift in her life.
“I teach at Joy because I love watching kids being brought up in Christ and watching them learn about Jesus, Bible stories, worship, and prayer for themselves and for others. I have found that whatever I teach them I learn more than what I have taught. |

Ms. StephMs. Steph is currently working as a Para Educator for children with special needs at a preschool level here in West Sacramento. She is married to her wonderful husband Jacob and they are celebrating their firstborn son Jaxon. She has been caring for the nursery babies at Joy Kids for the last 10 years!
“I continue to teach our Joy Kids because it is where God wants me to be. I have made some amazing relationships with the kids and other adults and I feel very blessed to be a part of it all.” |

Ms. SaraMs. Sara is a stay a home wife and mother to her husband Mike Nelson and three beautiful children Lily, Michael, and Jasmine. She also bakes some incredible desserts on the side for birthdays, weddings and other special occasions for family and friends. She has been teaching here at Joy for 9 years!
