What should i wear?

​We highly recommend clothes. But seriously, we’re a casual church, so wear what you’re comfortable in. If you'd like to dress up, dress up. If you prefer to dress down, dress down. Come as you are.

What is a typical service like?

​Imagine the best concert you’ve ever been to, then think of a powerful sermon by Billy Graham- okay, now take that thought and toss it out the window. Now picture a worship team led by talented volunteers who just want to glorify God, and a pastor who teaches you how to understand and apply God’s word in a practical way. Now you’re ready to experience Joy Church West Sacramento.

Do I have to be a christian to attend?

​​That’s a big fat no! Prior faith is not required.

What do you have for my kids?

​Fun, games, songs, Bible stories, a bit of chaos, and more fun. Your kids are going to have fun learning about Jesus!

Where do I go when I arrive?

Most people look for a seat in the back row, but if you want that, you should arrive several minutes early. But don’t worry about where to go, we have THE FRIENDLIEST church in town so someone will show you exactly where you want to go - kids classes, sanctuary, bathroom? We’ve got you covered!

What does the speaker talk about?

The Bible and how it applies to our lives today. 

Do I have to give money?

Nope. No one is required to give.

Do you have coffee?

Yes! We have free coffee, and most of the time, there are some other treats for the family, too. ​
