Today was a wonderful day! The worship was alive and anointed, and the Word was spot on. The day concluded with rain and 3 of our sisters being baptized. God is still on the throne and He is still doing a marvelous work in the lives of His people. Thank you Jesus!! Today was such a great day of Worship, Word, Fellowship, and Treats!! After our Sunday morning service everyone got together and blessed the children with tons of candy from the trunks of their cars. Every child left with smiles on their faces and plenty of candy to share with their family when they got home. God is good!! This was truly a tremendous day of worship, praise, unity, healing, fellowship, feasting, and love. The morning started off with high praise, followed by a message from Pastor J.C. on "Focus on the Solution", and topped off with an All-Church Fellowship. The Holy Spirit was present and I don't think it could have been any better! Thank you Jesus!! What a wonderful day at Joy...and God gets all the praise! It all started with prayer, followed by dynamic worship, then the preached Word, baptism, All Church Fellowship/Chili Cook-off, and a pinata. I don't think anything could have been done to make it any better. Everyone was in unity and Jesus was the center of it all. The joy of the Lord is our strength and things just keep getting better and better around here!! God has been good to us at Joy and His favor is upon us. This is evident in the powerful, Spirit-filled worship service, the preached Word, the unity within the church body, and in the lives that are being transformed. The Holy Spirit is always welcome at Joy! We kicked things off right this Summer with an All-Church Fellowship that included an All American food theme... hamburgers, hotdogs, and all the trimmings.
